As we count down the days to Chinese New Year, we present to you Lily Wong's Prosperity Leek with Chicken! Laugh your way to the bank with riches in another prosperous New Year, and 算 'suan' (count) the blessings as you munch on this delicious 大蒜 'da suan' (Leek) dish!

Combining the flavours of Leek and Chinese, this unassuming dish is light on the palette and is excellent as a complementary dish on the dinner table.

Prosperity Leek with Chicken
Preparation Time: 15 mins | Cook Time: 15 mins | Total Time: 30 mins
No. of servings: 4 to 5
- 300g Leek (300g大蒜)
- 250g Boneless Chicken Leg（250g无骨鸡腿)
- 150g Chinese Celery （150g中国芹菜）
- 1 tbsp MAGGI Concentrated Chicken Stock （1汤匙MAGGI鲜鸡汁）
Cooking Directions 烹煮过程
Step 1：Preparation （准备材料）
Chinese Celery: Cut stems into 6cm long, keep the leaves separately.
Leek: Cut the leek into 6cm long. Slit the edges to create volume in the final dish.
Cut into bigger pieces, so that the dish will not look too flat and have better texture. Season with 1 tbsp of MAGGI Concentrated Chicken Stock for at least 1 hr.
Step 2： Cook （烹煮）
In a frying pan, heat 1 tbsp of oil. Stir fry chicken until it’s 90% done.
Transfer to a plate.
In the same pan, add in leek and celery stems。 Stir-fry until it’s 50% done.
Add in the cooked chicken and stir fry for around 2 mins, until it’s fully cooked. Toss in the celery leaves and ready to serve.
