Jokes aside - it's rich, creamy and super yammy! From yaps to yums - Chef Wee Kweong's friends and colleagues didn't like the Gingkos in other regular Orh Ni so he recreated his own and perfected his recipe.

Preparation Time: 20 mins | Cook Time: 1hr | Total Time: 1hr 20 mins
No. of servings: 5 pax
- 500 g of yam, skin removed (500克芋头，去皮)
- 3-4 tablespoons vegetable cooking oil （3-4汤匙油）
- 100g sugar （100克糖）
- 4 tbsp water （4汤匙水）
- 1 Corn, ready-to-eat （1罐玉米，即食）
- 100g Coconut milk （100克椰奶）
Cooking Directions 烹煮过程
Step 1: Steam to soften the Yam, mash to paste form （蒸芋头）
Cut the Yam into small pieces and place it in a steamer. Steam for about 30 - 40 mins on high fire, until soft.
(将芋头切成小块。放入蒸锅里，蒸约30 - 40分钟，直到松软。)
Step 2: Mash to paste form (捣碎成泥)
Transfer to a mixing bowl and mash it.
Step 3: Fry it （炒）
Heat up a frying pan on medium heat. Add in cooking oil, yam paste, sugar and water. Stir fry until well mixed and aromatic.
Step 4: Serve warm （上菜咯！）
Top it up with coconut milk and corn before serving , quantity as desired.
