Of course, there are nourishing soups like Double-Boiled Wintermelon with Conpoy and Double-boiled Black Chicken, but the Fish Maw Thick Soup with Seafood stood out. In the smooth and silky broth, you’ll find a generous amount of fish maw and seafood.

Step it up with some deliciously marinated Dong Po Rou and Tiger Prawn in Creamy Vietnam Style. The Dong Po Rou is cooked to perfection, with a good balance of meat and fat and it is easy to chew on. Though we would prefer it to be a little fattier for that melt-in-your-mouth sensation! Both are intense in flavour and will leave you wanting for more.

Here’s a prized dish that earned a place in the spotlight, The Duck Roasted with Angelica Herb. The meat, succulent and flavourful doused in Chinese herbs sauce. This dish is without a doubt a must-have when you’re visiting Dian Xiao Er.

Strongly flavoured food isn’t for everyone, which is why Dian Xiao Er has signature healthier choice options for food lovers who are more health conscious. The signature Homemade Wheatgrass Tofu with Seafood and Baby Kai-Lan with Salted Fish and Lime are delectably refreshing alternatives for side dishes.

It’s best to finish the meal with a lovely chilled Collagen jelly with black sugar. Alternatively, you can enjoy the new dessert offering, Xiao Er Beancurd. This massively popular dessert from Dian Xiao Er Shanghai is now available from now till September 2 at Tampines 1 outlet. The silky-smooth curd comes in 3 different flavours – Original (13 – 19 Aug), Pandan (20 – 26 Aug) and Coffee (27 Aug – 2 Sep).
