Canned pork cubes are a common staple pantry food that most Asian households are familiar with. As they are already precooked, you can just warm them up in the mircrowave for one or two minutes and serve. Before we begin, it is good to start preparing the spicy canned pork cubes first.
As they are canned in oil, it is a good step to drain off as much of the oil first before cooking them. That way, your dishes won’t be too greasy, and you’ll save yourself some calories!
All the pork cubes are also shredded for the dishes. So, you can go ahead and mash the cubes with a fork first before cooking.

Drain the excess oil and mash the pork cubes to shred them.
Now, let’s cooking our the canned pork dishes!
Breakfast- Spicy Pulled Pork Sandwich
Breakfast sandwiches usually consists of egg, bacon and cheese. Today we are swapping out the bacon for some delicious spicy pork.
It is extremely flavourful and the cheese helps to tone down some of spice. Hence, if you can’t take too much spice, this sandwich is still great for you!

Start with preparing the bread. Melt the butter in the pan and coat both side of your bread in the butter. Then let the bread toast on the pan until both sides are golden brown.

You can skip this step by simply popping your bread in the toaster but frying them in butter makes them more flavourful and crunchier!
For the filling, heat up some oil and pour in the egg on low heat. Sprinkle on the cheese when the top of egg is still runny then spread the shredded pork over it. Then carefully fold the egg into half.

For lunch, let's go with something Asian.
Lunch- Century Egg Tofu with Spicy Pork
Century Egg Tofu is a chilled Chinese dish that is both spicy and savoury, just like the spicy pork cubes! Thus, adding the spicy pork cubes still retain the traditional flavours of the dish while adding a meaty oomph to it.
Although we are not serving chilled tofu today, you definitely can if you like it cold. Check out the original recipe here with some steamed dang gui chicken!

Century Egg Tofu with Spicy Pork
Start with laying the shredded spicy pork cubes on top of the tofu and steaming it for 5 minutes. #Tip: if you don’t like steamed tofu, you can dice it and deep fry instead!

While it is steaming, mix all the sauce ingredients together to make the sauce. Pour it over the tofu when it is done then garnish with chopped century egg and spring onions.

Pour the sauce over the tofu and top it up with century egg and spring onions.
That’s it! This dish is addictive, especially if you love savoury and spicy food.
Best eaten with a bowl of rice, it’s a complete meal with double portions of protein!

Dinner- Spicy Stir-fried Spaghetti
We know what you are thinking. Stir-fried spaghetti?!
But trust us, this canned pork dish is absolutely delicious, and it looks and tastes like it came out of a restaurant!

Spicy Stir-fried spaghetti
Start with boiling your spaghetti just a minute or two under as it says so on the packaging. As the spaghetti will be stir-fried later on, you’ll want your pasta to be just a little under. That way it will be perfectly cooked at the end of the dish.

To prepare the sauce, stir-fry the shredded spice pork cubes and squid for two minutes. Then add the chopped tomatoes, ketchup, and salt to the pan and mix well.
Add the drained cooked spaghetti to the pan and stir-fry it to mix well and absorb the sauce.

Plate your spaghetti on a dish and garnish with coriander. Dinner is served!

- 1/2 can Spicy pork cubes drained and mashed
- 2 slices bread
- 2 tbsp shredded cheese
- 3 tbsp butter
- 1/2 tbsp cooking oil
- 2 eggs whisked
- Melt the butter in a pan and coat both sides of the bread with melted butter. Toast both slices by pan frying them on both sides. Set aside.
- Add cooking oil to the tamagoyaki pan and pour in the eggs. Ensure that the eggs are spread evenly around the pan.
- Add the cheese and pork on top of the eggs and carefully fold the egg in half.
- Place the eggs on one toasted bread slice and cover with the other. Serve hot.
- 1 can Spicy pork cubes drained and mashed
- 1 pck silken tofu
- 1 century egg chopped
- 1 stalk spring onions chopped
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tbsp fish sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp water
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 2 shallots sliced
- 2 chilli padi chopped
- Spread the pork over the tofu and place them in the steamer for 5 minutes. *Tip:If you don't like steamed tofu, you can fry it. Just cut your tofu into pieces and deep fry them
- While waiting, add all the sauce ingredients into a bowl and mix well.
- When the tofu is done, pour the sauce over it.
- Add the century egg and spring onions over the tofu. Serve warm or chilled.
- 75 g spaghetti
- 1 can Spicy pork cubes drained and minced
- 5 squid flower
- 1 large tomato chopped
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp cooking oil
- water for boiling
- coriander garnish
- Boil a pot of water and add in 1 tablespoon of salt and the spaghetti . Give it a good stir.
- Let the spaghetti boil for 7 minutes or one-two minute less than stated on the packaging. Set aside.
- Add some oil in a hot pan, cook the minced spiced pork cubes for 1 minute. Add the squid and stir fry for 1-2 minutes.
- Add chopped tomatoes, ketchup, and salt. Stir fry to mix well.
- Add the boiled spaghetti to the pan and stir fry to combine for 2-3 minutes.
- Garnish with some coriander and serve.
