This week, our milkshake recipe is an absolute show stopper. With the lovely signature purple hues of Ribena, we are taking our favourite drink to new heights and flavours. This milkshake is definitely the best way to cool off during this summer heat madness!
Milkshake is a classic American favourite treat that we have embraced here in Singapore as well. With this recipe, get an additional boost of Vitamin C and blackcurrant goodness!

Add a Vitamin C boost and blackcurrant goodness with Ribena!
These are the ingredients that you will need: Ribena Cordial, fresh milk, vanilla ice cream, cream, white chocolate, Ribena Pastilles, Fruity Pebbles cereal, candy floss, Blueberry Pocky stick, sour candy, and purple and pink sugar sprinkles.
Let’s start with the first step!
Step 1: Prepare the white chocolate ganache
In a microwavable bowl, add the cream and white chocolate. Microwave it on medium heat for 20 seconds to melt the chocolate. Ensure the chocolate and cream are mixed evenly.
If the chocolate has not melted, put it back in the microwave for another 10 seconds.

Stir with a spatula until the chocolate and cream has mixed evenly.
Once the milk and chocolate have been mixed, place the bowl in the freezer to set for 10 minutes or until it is thick and sticky.
Step 2: Prepare the milkshake
In a blender, add in the milkshake ingredients and blend it on high until smooth.
#Tip: For a healthier version, you may replace the ice cream with low-fat yoghurt!
Set the milkshake aside.

Blend the milkshake ingredients until smooth
Step 3: Assemble the milkshake
And now for the fun part!
Spread the white chocolate ganache on the outer part of a tall glass with a spatula. Keep to the top portion of the glass and cover a third of its length.

Coat the glass with the white chocolate ganche
Place the Ribena pastilles and Fruity Pebbles cereal on the white chocolate ganache, covering it.
Alternatively, you can also fill a tray with Ribena pastilles and cereal and roll the glass across, for them to stick on it.

Stick the fruity pebbles and Ribena pastilles onto the ganache
Next, pour in the milkshake until the glass is almost full. And now, it is time to let your creativity overflow! Shape the candy floss into a cloud and place it on top of the cup.
Decorate the candy floss cloud with pocky sticks, sour candy, party straw, and sprinkles on top. Don’t be afraid to go big on the decorating. For this part, bigger is better!
#Tip: To get the sour candy into a zig-zag shape, simply pierce one end on a satay stick and weave it up and down to get the desired effect.
Serve immediately once you are done.

Decorate and serve your Ribena Rainbow Milkshake!
We love how beautiful the purple and pink look together on the milkshake! It is rich and creamy, packed with the fruity goodness of Ribena. This is the perfect dessert/drink to enjoy with your family or partner on a hot Singaporean day and it is a treat for the eyes too!
