LAKTO Cheese Curd Bars in three different flavours
These bars are the perfect snack on their own for children aged three and above. But for a fun cooking activity or to add some fruits to their snacks, here are our 3 healthy and easy snack recipes for kids!
Cheese curd with Berries Egg Crepe
For the first recipe, we referred to a very popular Tik Tok wrap cooking hack we think is quite ingenious. It is easy to follow, and we wished we have thought of this method sooner!

Cheese curd with Berries Egg Crepe
Here are the ingredients that you will need: ready-to-eat egg crepes, LAKTO Cheese Curd Bar in White Belgian Chocolate Coating with Raspberry-Pomegranate Filling, strawberries, hazelnut spread, and whipped cream.
Start with preparing your ingredients.
Wash the strawberries and slice into 4 slices each.
While still frozen, cut your cheese curd bar into 8 pieces each. It is easier to cut the bar while they are frozen so that the chocolate coating remains intact, and you can prevent a mess!

Cut the LATO Cheese Curd bar into 8 pieces
Now moving on to the wrap hack.
Place 2 egg crepes on a plate, find the centre of the crepes with a knife or pizza cutter and slice from the centre down to the end.

Slice from the centre of the crepe downwards
Visually divide the crepes into 4 quarters and place an ingredient in a quarter each. Spread as much as you like, but we think more is always more!
Next, carefully lift up the bottom left quarter and fold the crepes upwards, to the right, and then downwards according to the lines.

Fold the crepe accordingly
Garnish with a little more whipping cream or dust with icing sugar and your Insta-worthy snack is done!

Top with whipping cream and enjoy the crepe!
We love the slight tang of the Cheese Curd balanced with the sweetness of the other ingredients. Biting into it also gives a fruity surprise!
The cheese curd also gives a little chew to the softness of the crepe which we enjoy very much, and we are sure that your kids will too! If you do not have crepe at home, you can replace it with any wrap that you have on hand to create this tasty dessert.
Apricot Puff with Cheese Curds and Berries
Here is a snack for kids that you can also serve at parties (in the future!) or even dessert. Sweet and buttery from the pastry, these puffs are a light snack that you and your children can nibble on during tea time.

Apricot Puff with Cheese Curds and Berries
Here are the ingredients that you will need: frozen puff pastry, apricot jam, raspberries, blueberries, and a piece of LAKTO Cheese Curd Bar in Belgian Chocolate Coating.
For the first step, begin with preheating your oven at 200℃.
Place your pastry sheet on a lined baking tray use a knife or pizza cutter to slice it into 12 small rectangles.

Cut the pastry sheet into 12 pieces
Let the puff pastry bake in the oven for 13mins or until golden brown and puffy.
Once the puffs are done, remove them from the oven and let them cool down completely before moving on to the next step.

Bake the puff pastry for 13 minutes
Take a spoon and press down on the centre of each puff to create a well. Be careful not to flatten the edges.

Create a well in the puff pastry with a spoon
Cut the cheese curd bar into 4 pieces each and set aside.
Fill the well with a tablespoon of apricot jam and top it up with raspberries, blueberries, and a piece of the cheese curd bar.

Top the pastry with fruits and a piece of LAKTO cheese curd bar
Place the puffs on a serving plate and dust with some icing sugar and you are done!

Dust with icing sugar and serve
These puffs look just like Danish pastries but they are healthier and much easier to make! The recipe is quite versatile as well, so you can swap out any of the fruits or jam to your favourite ingredients instead. No matter which fruit you choose, the straightforward flavour of Cheese Curd Bar in Belgian Chocolate Coating will match them well!
Pretty, delicate, and healthy, you and your kids can enjoy these puffs at any time of the day.
Popcorn bar with Cheese Curd and Dried Apricot
If movie time is one of your family’s favourite activity but your kids tend to make a mess with popcorn, then this is a recipe for you! Transforming popcorn into popcorn bars allows you to sneak fruit and some healthy dairy protein into everyone’s favourite movie snack and no one will fight over who is eating more too!

Popcorn bar with Cheese Curd and Dried Apricot
Here are the ingredients that you will need: salted caramel popcorn, plain marshmallow, unsalted butter, dried cranberries, and LAKTO Cheese Curd Bar in Belgian Chocolate Coating with Chocolate Pieces.
In a bowl, add your popcorn and dried cranberry pieces and give them a good mix. Set aside.

Mix the popcorn and dried cranberries together
In a pan, add the butter and let it melt over low heat. Make sure that the heat is low so that the butter does not brown and burn.
Add in the marshmallows and fold with a spatula until they have melted. Pour the butter and marshmallow mixture into the popcorn bowl and mix well until it is fully coated.

Pour the melted marshmallow over the popcorn mix and mix well
Transfer the popcorn mixture into a lined baking dish and use a spatula to press it down evenly.
Let it cool down then cut your cheese curds into 16 square pieces each and sprinkle them on top of the popcorn mixture. Ensure that the mixture has cooled but is still sticky before adding the cheese curds or the chocolate coating will run.

Sprinkle the chopped LAKTO cheese curd over the popcorn bar
Using a piece of baking paper, place it on top of the mixture and press down.
This will help to compact the mixture into the baking dish and ensure that the cheese curds stick to the bar.

Cover with a piece of baking paper and press down to compress
Place the baking dish in the fridge and let it set for at least 30 minutes.
Once set, cut the popcorn bar into smaller bars or cubes and it is ready to be served!

Cut into squares and serve!
Sticky, chewy, and chocolaty, this popcorn bar is full of different textures, flavours, and surprises! We particularly love how the LAKTO Cheese Curd Bar in Belgian Chocolate Coating with Chocolate pieces adds two types of chocolate texture to the bar along with all its dairy goodness. Who can say no to more chocolate?
You can also vary the types of popcorn and dried fruit added to the bar to your family’s taste. It is a delicious (and neat!) movie treat both adults and kids alike would enjoy!
