Ingredients
- 12 slices bread (12片面包)
- 500 ml fresh milk (500毫升鲜牛)
- 2 eggs (2个蛋)
- 4 tbsp sugar (4茶匙糖)
- 2 tbs butter melted (2茶匙奶油,熔化)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract (1茶匙香草精)

- 3 tbsp chocolate chips add more as desired (3汤匙巧克力片,根据喜好添加。)
Custard sauce(卡仕达酱)
- 1/2 cup evaporated milk (半杯淡奶)
- 1/4 cup water (1/4杯水)
- 1/4 tsp custard powder (1茶匙卡仕达粉)
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon (1茶匙肉桂粉)
- 1 tbsp sugar (1汤匙匙糖)
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract (半茶匙香草精)
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the bread pudding (准备面包布丁)
- Preheat oven to 155°c. Grease 21” x 21” glass casserole with butter. Tear the bread slices into small pieces and lay them in the casserole. 预热烤箱至155°C。在21“x 21” 玻璃烤盘抹上奶油。把面包撕成小块,放在烤盘里。
- In a medium mixing bowl, combine eggs, milk, 2 tbsp of chocolate chips, sugar, melted butter, cinnamon and vanilla. Mix thoroughly, pour over the bread in the casserole.在一个碗里,拌匀鸡蛋,牛奶,2汤匙巧克力片,糖,融化的奶油,肉桂粉和香草精。倒入烤盘里。
