Happiness Sweet & Sticky Chicky Wings
Sugar, spice and everything nice - because this week is our chicken wings are glazed with happiness and joy. Spruce up this year's Chinese New Year get together parties with this innovation and delicious recipe by Share Food home cook, Lynn Lee, in another #challengeaccepted recipe.

  • 4 chicken wings (4只鸡翅)
  • 1/4cup balsamic vinegar (1/4杯香醋)
  • 1/4cup ribena cordial (1/4杯利賓納黑加仑子浓果汁)
  • 1/4cup soft brown sugar(1/4杯红糖)
  • 1/8cup soy sauce(1/8杯酱油)
  • 3cloves garlicsliced  (3瓣大蒜,切片)
Garnishing (点缀)
  • 1/2tbsp toasted sesame seeds(1/2汤匙烤芝麻)
  • 1/2 carrotstripes (1/2胡萝卜,切条)
Step 1: Marinate the Chicken Wing (腌制鸡翅)
  1. In a mixing bowl with chicken wings, pour in all ingredients except for the garnishing. Mix well and seal with a cling wrap. Leave it to marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hrs. 在碗里混合, 鸡翅, 大蒜,香醋,利賓納黑加仑子浓果汁, 红糖和酱油。用保鲜膜密封,然后,放入冰箱腌制至少2小时。
Step 2: Bake the Chicken Wing & Cook the Sauce (烤鸡翅和煮酱)
  1. Preheat the oven to 230 degree Celsius. Line a rimmed baking sheet with baking paper / aluminium foil. 将烤箱预热至230oC。在烤盘上放置烤纸/铝箔。
  2. Place the chicken wing on the baking sheet and bake for 30 - 35 minutes. Meanwhile, place the marinade in a small saucepan. Bring the marinade to a boil, then reduce the heat to a simmer and cook over low heat until thick, about 15 minutes. 把鸡翼放在烤盘上,烤30-35分钟。同时,把腌汁倒入一个小锅里。把腌汁煮沸,然后把热量减低,焖煮约15分钟,直到变稠。
Step 3: Ready to serve(上菜咯!)
  1. Glaze the cooked marinade on each cooked chicken wing. Garnishing and serve immediately. 把熟腌料抹在每一个烤好的鸡翼上。立即享用。
Recipe Notes

The cooked marinade gets sticky when it’s cooled down. If it gets too sticky before you could glaze it on the wing, reheat to liquefy it. 小贴士:煮热的腌料在冷却时会变得粘稠。如果它变得太粘,您可以再稍微煮热它,然后才抹在鸡翼上。
