Ingredients
- 340 g plain flour leave a little flour for rolling (340克面粉)
- 1/4 tsp baking soda (1/4茶匙小苏打粉)
- 1/4 tsp salt (1/4茶匙盐)
- 1/4 tsp sugar (1/4茶匙糖)
- 85 g natural unsweetened yogurt (85克天然无糖酸奶)
- 1½ tbsp oil (11/2 汤匙油)
- 85 g water Lukewarm, add more if required. (85克温水)
- 4 tsp garlic finely chopped(4茶匙大蒜,切碎)
- 4 tsp onion powder (4茶匙洋葱粉)
For Garnishing (配料)
- 1 tbsp butter (1汤匙奶油)
- 1 tbsp coriander finely chopped (1汤匙芫茜, 切碎)
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the dough (准备面团)
- Mix sieved flour, baking soda, salt, yoghurt and 1 tbsp of oil together. Use palm to knead. Add water gradually to make a soft yet not sticky dough. Apply some oil on the surface of the dough and cover it up with a cloth. Let the dough sit for about 3 hours in warm place. (把过筛的面粉,小苏打粉,盐,酸奶和1汤匙的油混合在一起。用手掌揉, 慢慢加入温水,揉到面团软而不粘。在面团的表面抹上一层油,然后用布盖着。让面团在温热的地方发酵约3小时。)
Step 2: Shape the dough and Prepare to Cook (准备烹煮面团)
- Dough should have rise. Knead the dough on floured surface. Divide the dough in four parts, roll it into small balls. Roll each naan to less than ¼ inch thick. Spread 1 tsp of chopped Garlic and Onion Powder. Sprinkle some water and pat the garlic and onion lightly. (在一个有面粉的桌上,柔发酵好的面团。将面团分成四份,把它卷成小球。用擀面杖或玻璃酒瓶揉平,每卷烤饼不到四1/4寸厚。在每一个卷烤, 倒上1茶匙的切碎的大蒜和洋葱粉.撒上水,然后用手把大蒜和洋葱轻轻的压入面团里。)
Step 3: Cook the Naan (烹煮面团)
- Heat pan on medium heat. To check if skillet is ready, sprinkle a few drops of water, water should sizzle. Reduce heat and put garlic side naan down on the skillet. Once the naan start bubbling and dough starts drying up, flip and cook the other side. (用中火热锅。想知道锅易够热了吗? 您可以撒上一点水,如果有嘶嘶声,那就表示锅已经够热了。减少热量,有大蒜的那一面倒在煎锅上。一旦烤饼开始有鼓泡和干燥,翻转煮另一面。)
Step 4: Prepare to serve (上菜咯!)
- Once it is cooked, remove from pan. Spread butter and coriander leaves before serving.(一旦煮熟后,涂上奶油和芫荽, 一起享用。)
