Ingredients
  • 1kg pre-made lontongcut into bite-size cubes
  • 300 g minced beef
  • 500g prawnsmedium-size
  • 3 fishcakemedium
  • ¼ cabbagecut into stripes
  • 3 chinese white cabbagecut into 5 cm long
  • 1cup dried shrimpsblended into powder
  • 2cups fried shallots
  • 1tbsp belacan
  • 1 spring onionsgarnish
Seasoning
  • 2pieces chicken cubes
  • 2tbsp sugar
  • 4tbsp oyster sauce
  • 3tbsp sweet soy sauce
  • 1tbsp salt
  • 1tbsp sugar
  • 1tbsp pepper
Herb paste
  • 4cup dried chilli paste
  • 1/3cup garlic paste
  • 1/3cup onion paste
  • 1/4cup ginger paste
Instructions
  1. In a big wok with heated oil, add in the herb pastes. Fry for 3 mins until the fragrances releases. Add in belachan, fry till the oil surfaces above the chilli.
  2. Add in fried shallots, fresh prawns, oyster sauce, sweet soy sauce, salt and sugar, pepper, chicken cubes, dried shrimp. Pour in 2 cups of water, fry till the prawn is ¾ cooked.
  3. Add in minced beef and fish cake. Fry till the ingredients are fully cooked.
  4. Add in the cut lontong and the vegetables. Stir-fry for 2 minutes till it is evenly mixed.
  5. Serve with spring onion as garnish.
