Paneer Butter Masala

  • 200grams paneer (cottage cheese)cubed (200克印度干酪,立方)
  • 3tbsp oil(3汤匙油)
  • 3-4 dried red chilliesadjust spiciness accordingly. Soak for 10 mins and drained (3-4干红辣椒,随意。浸泡10分钟,沥干)
  • 1 onionmedium size, roughly chopped (1个中形洋葱,切成小块)
  • 1 red capsicummedium size, roughly chopped (1个红灯笼椒,切成小块)
  • 1tsp gingerfresh and grated(1茶匙鲜姜磨碎)
  • 6cloves garlic(6瓣大蒜)
  • ½cup almonds(½ 杯杏仁)
  • ¼cup raisins(¼ 杯葡萄干)
  • 1cup tomato puree1杯番茄酱
  • ¼cup Cream[more if required for later for consistency] (¼杯奶油)
  • 1/8tsp peeled cardamom powder(1/8 茶匙Cardamom 粉)
  • 1/8tsp garam masala(1/8 茶匙Garam Masala 粉)
  • ½tsp kasoori methi optional [dry fenugreek leaves](1/2茶匙干葫芦巴叶,不一定需要但是可以提味)
  • saltto taste (盐,随意)
Step 1: Cook the Curry (烹煮咖喱材料)
  1. Over medium heat, heat oil in a saucepan. Add dry red chillies, onion, red bell pepper and stir fry. Add in grated ginger, garlic and stir fry. Mix in almonds and raisins. Stir fry till the vegetables are slightly caramelized. Pour in tomato puree, stir for another 1 mins and switch off the flame. Set aside and allow it to cool down for 10 mins. Step 2: Blend the Curry (搅拌咖喱材料)
  1. Pour the gravy into the blender. Add cream, salt, cardamom powder, garam masala and Kasoori methi, puree it. (把咖喱材料倒入搅拌机。加入奶油,盐,Cardomon Poweder,Garam Masala和干葫芦巴叶,一起搅拌.)
Step 3: Cook the Curry with Paneer (烹煮干酪咖喱)
  1. Pour the gravy back into the frying pan. Add in Paneer and mix well. Let it boil on low-medium flame till the gravy thickens. (把咖喱倒回炒锅里。加入干酪混匀。让它在中低火焖煮,直到咖喱变稠.)
  2. This is a thick curry, so adjust the consistency with cream. (这是一个浓厚的咖喱,所以您可以用奶油调整浓度。)
Step 4: Ready to serve (上菜咯!)
  1. Serve with a dash of cream just before serving. (在上菜前倒上一汤匙奶油)
