Salted Egg Yolk CP Jumbo Shrimp Wonton
Wishing everyone, 哈哈大笑过大年!Prawn wontons are the norm but have you tried them fried and coated in salted egg yolk sauce? We love how these all work together. Taste simply delicious!

  • 2boxes jumbo seafood wanton16 pcs
  • 6 salted duck egg yolkssteamed
  • 4cloves garlicpounded
  • 2 red chillisliced
  • 2sprigs curry leaves
  • 55g butter
  • ½cup evaporated milk
  • tsp sugarto taste
Step 1: Air-fry the wonton
  1. Spray a layer of oil over the wonton.
  2. Air-fry it at 200 degree Celsius for 12 minutes until golden brown.
Step 2: Steam the salted egg yolk and mash it
  1. Place the salted egg yolk in the steamer and steam for 5 mins.
  2. Remove from pot, leave it to cool. Mash the yolk.
Step 3: Cook the salted egg yolk sauce and combine with wonton
  1. In a frying pan, add in butter. Let it melt in the pan. Add in garlic and fry till it’s fragrant.
  2. Add curry leaves and mashed egg yolk. Fry till fragrant.
  3. Add evaporated milk and sugar, to taste. Stir till creamy. Lower the heat.
  4. Add the fried wonton and chilli. Stir gently till the wonton are fully coated.
