Ingredients
- 1 can Ayam Bran Saba Chili
- 1 cup rice cooked
- 100 g cheddar cheese shredded
- 1/2 onion chopped
- 1 clove garlic chopped
- 1 carrot chopped
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 1/2 tbsp flour
- 1 cup milk
- salt to taste
- pepper to taste
Instructions
Step 1: Cook the ingredients and sauce
- In a pan, add the butter, onions, garlic, and carrots, and cook until soft. Add in the flour and stir until smooth.
- Gradually add in the milk while stirring until the sauce has thickened then half of the cheese. Stir until smooth.
- Add in the whole can of saba. Cook for 1 minute and taste. Add salt and pepper if needed.
- Stir in the cooked rice until well mixed.
Step 2: Bake the rice
- Heat the oven to 200°C and butter a baking dish.
- Add half of the rice mixture to the baking dish and add half of the remaining cheese. Repeat layers.
- Place the dish to bake for 20 minutes or until the top cheese layer is browned and bubbling at the edges.
