How to choose the right food processor?
To choose the right food processor for you; take note of the size, attachments, and motor power of the food processor. These factors will help you decide if the food processor is convenient to use, has the functions you need, and the power to perform harder tasks such as cutting through hard vegetables or nuts.
For a typical Singaporean family of four, Kenwood’s Multipro Sense Food Processor M810 has the perfect bowl sizes of 3.5L for large meals or 1.7L for smaller meals. It also comes with many quality attachments that allow you to transform it into a blender, shredder, slicer and stand mixer!
This makes the model a smart buy if you are already considering purchasing either of those appliances too. And with a 1000W motor, this food processor is definitely powerful enough to cut through hard foods and hit stiff peak in next to no time.
We dare say the Kenwood Multipro Sense Food Processor M810 is one of the best food processors we ever used yet!
Let us walk you through the different features of the Multipro Sense Food Processor or watch it in action in our video above.
Food processor and Blender
The number one function of a food processor is to chop ingredients finely. To perform this job easily, a good food processor will need sharp blades and quality motor power to mince the food finely.
The Multipro Sense Food Processor has both! To test both functions, we made sambal chilli which requires both chopping and blending to make that luscious thick paste.

This chilli texture is perfect for Ayam Penyet and Grilled chilli stuffed fish
With eight different speed levels and high-quality blades, it did not take long for our chillies and shallots to be ready. The bowl is made from sturdy shatter-resistant and BPA-free TritanTM material, so feel free to turn up the speed!
The bowl is also easy to clean by hand or in the dishwasher too.
To turn our finely diced chillies and shallots into a thick sambal chilli, blend them with lime juice.
Made of glass, the 1.6L ThermoResistTM blender attachment prevents stains, scratches, and can smoothly blend hot or cold ingredients with no risk of shattering.
Just look at how beautifully blended our sambal chilli turned out! Even the chilli seeds have been blended in too.

The seeds are blended so finely that we could hardly spot it!
If you are making smaller portion, simply fit the 1.7L bowl in and process away.

Use the smaller bowl (1.7L) to process smaller portion of food such as baby puree, vegan mayonnaise and peanut butter.
There are endless dishes you can easily prepare with the food processor and blender, such as rendang and pasta sauce. Here are a few dishes that we recommend:
Shredding and Slicing Discs
Shredding and slicing are common food prep steps we are all familiar within the kitchen. But they are not as easy as they seem.
Shredding with a grater takes lots of arm strength and slicing thinly takes precision. When we are hungry or cooking for a large group, these steps can be daunting and time-consuming.
With the Multipro Sense Food Processor shredding and slicing discs, you can finish your prep work in next to no time!

5 slicing and shredding discs come with a dedicated box to keep it safe and neat
There are five discs in total:
- 2mm Slicing Grating
- 4mm Slicing Grating
- Extra Fine Grater
- Fine Julienne
- Decorative Slice
The disc blades are sharp and well-designed with a variety of cuts for you to choose from.
We put the thinnest 2mm Slicing Grating disc to the test and shredded five carrots in merely 30 seconds! That is enough to make 50 carrot cake cupcakes!

This 2mm thin carrot is perfect for both English and Chinese carrot cake!
Next, we flipped the disc to test the slicing side with a cucumber.
The result is uniformed and perfectly thin slices. The slices are so thin that you can shine a light through them!

Having the Multipro Sense Food Processor do all work so quickly and efficiently, it is like having a profession sous chef by your side!
It makes it so easy to prepare delicious dishes and requires a lot of shredding like Rosti and Kueh Pie Tee. You can even host a Popiah party (with limited guests of course) and not break a sweat while preparing the ingredients!
Baking Attachment
During the Circuit Breaker, many have taken up baking as a hobby. If this sounds like you, take a gander at the Multipro Sense Food Processor’s baking attachments which completely transforms it into a proper stand mixer!

Baking attachments
- Dual Whisk
- Folding Tool
- Dough Tool
Any experienced baker will agree that baking is like science and it requires the ingredients to be perfectly measured out.
Hence, the Multipro Sense Food Processor comes with a precise in-built weighing scale, so you can add everything directly into the bowl! We love this feature as it saves us from having to wash the multiple bowls used to measure the ingredients. #lazyalert

Weigh and tare as you add in your ingredients into the food processor. So convenient!
Baking Attachment: Whisk and Folding Tool
To test the Dual Whisk and Folding Tool, we are making Chocolate Mousse- a simple but delicate dessert that requires lots of beating or an excellent mixer.
First, we are going to beat the whipped cream with the Dual Whisk until it reaches stiff peaks. On average, it usually takes a few minutes for cream to reach soft peaks and a little longer to reach stiff peaks.
However, with the Dual Whisk, the cream reached soft peaks in just 15 seconds and stiff peaks in under a minute at maximum speed!

Whipped cream achieved stiff peak in under 1 min!
Now to see how well the Folding Tool can incorporate melted chocolate into the whipped cream.
Folding is a technique used to carefully mix batter without knocking the air out of it, so the batter will remain light and fluffy. Over folding has been the cause of many failed bakes and desserts, but we are pleasantly surprised by the performance of the Folding Tool.
At mid-speed, the Chocolate Mousse is ready in just a minute!
The melted chocolate is well incorporated into the whipped cream with no white streaks at all. No air has been knocked out either as mousse retained the whipped cream’s smooth and fluffy, stiff peaks texture.

Smooth and luscious chocolate mousse ready in less than 5 mins!
Baking Attachment: Knead/Dough Tool
The Dough Tool functions the same as the dough hook on a stand mixer and can form all types of soft dough, except for bread dough. To test it, we are making Ondeh Ondeh dough which traditionally requires lots of kneading to make it smooth.
Just a minute in the Multipro Sense Food Processor and the ingredients have formed into a dough already!

Knead Ondeh Ondeh dough using the food processor is so convenient and fuss-free!
Baking Attachment: Use Knife blade to knead bread
If you want to make bread, we recommend that you use the chopping Knife Blade attachment of the food processor instead.
When we tried making bread dough with the Dough Tool, it tended to drag and left fragments of the dough stuck to the side of the bowl. The Knife Blade has a longer reach and the sharper blade works better on the stickier and heavier bread dough.
In just under five minutes, we reached the windowpane stage*!

The perfect windowpane stage we want to achieve in bread dough
*Windowpane stage is a baking technique used to tell if you have kneaded your dough enough. Stretch your dough and hold it up to a light source. If the light is able to shine through, the dough is ready.
